Proven leadership qualities suitable for the challenging and complex environment of higher education (HEI) institutions including accreditation like NIRF, NBA, AACSB, NAAC.* Dr. Tarun is a Management faculty in the area of Strategic management & General management with a total experience of 24 years (3- industry).* At present - Professor- Strategic Management & Dean- Academics, PAN Area Chair- GM & Strategy at Jaipuria institute of Management, Noida * He has successfully delivered significant innovation in, accreditation, curriculum design, IQAC, course plan upgradation, new course launch, Research promotion, and upgradation for funded and nonfunded research. Have had positions like Associate dean- research ( around 6 years), SoB, UPES and Head of department ( six plus years).* An ardent follower of case pedagogy for teaching strategic management at PG, executive, and Ph.D. level.* Published papers in journals of repute like IJIM (A*), IJOPM(ABS4), Solar Energy,CR, Renewable Energy, Energy Policy, RSER, FTR, JCP, Solar Energy etc.* He has guided 10 scholars ( thesis awarded) in areas like Offshore wind power, Maintenance strategy, Port performance, SHRM, investment decisions under uncertainty, strategies for sustainability of power utilities, LCC, Regulatory options and public utility behavior, Competition in Retail Electricity Supply, and Port clusters.*Published research papers & case studies in reputed journals indexed in WoS, ABS, ABDC, Scopus *He has won “The best paper award” five times in different reputed platforms like Doctoral Colloquium at IIM Ahmedabad, DMS, IISC, Bangalore, K J Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research, Mumbai, SCMS Cochin, and DMS, IIT Roorkee. Presented thesis work ( own and scholar) four times on reputed platforms like IIMA, IISC five times.* Organised International Conference on Management of Infrastructure (ICMI) 2013, 2014 as Co-Convener and as convener in 2015,16 and 2017 and FDP on RM with *Conducted Strategic Management (mainly) & Research methodology classes as part of certified petroleum manager (CPM) & MBA course to more than 2200 managers for 50 man-days at various energy companies.*Written books on “Asset Maintenance Management in Industry: A Comprehensive Guide to Strategies, Practices and Benchmarking” 2021, Springer, “Strategic Management of Technology and Innovation” 2019,*Paper on ‘Outcome-based Contract’ is accepted in coveted Strategic Management Society (SMS) 41st Annual Conference, September 18-21, 2021.
