About Tarun Narayanam

I recently graduated with a Master of Science in Information Systems from Binghamton University (SUNY) in May 2025 building upon my strong academic foundation in Computer Science from Vellore Institute of Technology India. My graduate studies focused on advanced topics such as Applied Machine Learning Data Mining Large Language Models and Software Project Management. Prior to my graduate program I worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Avon Technologies for over 2 years where I led the design and deployment of scalable ML models and end-to-end AI solutions. My role involved building automated MLOps pipelines training and optimizing models and integrating AI systems into production environments using tools like TensorFlow PyTorch AWS SageMaker and MLflow. My technical toolkit spans a broad range of modern technologies including Python R JavaScript PySpark Docker Kubernetes and Jenkins with experience across both front-end and back-end development. I’ve built applications using Flask Fast API REST APIs and web technologies like HTML/CSS. I’m also proficient with cloud and infrastructure tools such as Terraform Prometheus and Grafana and I’ve worked extensively with LLMs Lang Chain Hugging Face Transformers and Vector Databases (Pinecone FAISS) for building cutting-edge AI applications. I thrive in collaborative fast-paced environments and take pride in writing clean scalable and efficient code. With a passion for applied machine learning generative AI and MLOps best practices I’m constantly looking for opportunities to learn grow and contribute to impactful solutions.
