About Taryn Bertini

I am a Junior studying Marketing Communications and Business Management at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa. I am a current member of the varsity volleyball team on campus where I represent the volleyball team on the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee where I report on the status of our team and discuss important NCAA legislation. I currently am interning with the Real Estate team at the Kieiwit Headquarters in Omaha, Nebraska. This position has provided me with the necessary insight and knowledge into the field I am striving to pursue as I enter the workforce. In my internship, I have drafted leases and notices for company-owned properties across the United States, consulted with managers in the Real Estate department to update the company SharePoint portal, and engaged in communication with companies across the globe to gather information used in marketing communications projects. I am looking forward to my upcoming years at Simpson College, where I will be able to learn more about marketing communications and business management through my classes and continued internship with Kiewit. I hope to gain further knowledge within these fields through my future work experience.
