About Taryn Powell

Taryn has 10+ years of experience in the marketing world. She began her career in an art department creating box art and retail display mock-ups. After a move back to her hometown, she took on a marketing role in which she was responsible for advertisements, tradeshow participation, brand management, and the company newsletter. With a couple of years of experience under her belt, she landed a job in the marketing department of a local credit union. Being a fast learner and hard worker, she quickly transitioned to Marketing Specialist/Graphic Design. She was responsible for event planning/management, content strategy, print, digital, and social media graphics, campaign planning and execution, budgeting, copywriting, unique data field merges, proposal writing, promotional products, team management, and more. With community and culture being an important part of her life and career, she led the company "Culture Crew" and was on the board for "Miles for Mammograms","Young Professionals" and "A Taste of Chocolate". Taryn is passionate about her work and loves being in a creative role. She is proficient in Adobe Suite and continues to attend training and webinars to further her skills and knowledge in these programs.
