Hi! My name is Taryn Simon and I recently began my Master of Arts in School and Applied Child Psychology at Western University, under the supervision of Dr. Emma Duerden. Prior to beginning my master's, I graduated from McMaster University in Neuroscience, Psychology, and Behaviour. I worked as a research coordinator in the Early Programming of Cognitive and Mental Health (EPOCH) Laboratory alongside Dr. Ryan Van Lieshout and Dr. John Krzeczkowski, running a longitudinal randomized control trial for mothers with postpartum depression and their infants. My interests are in perinatal mental health and infant outcomes (I.e, neurodevelopment, emotion regulation, social-emotional development).
