I took the plunge into my “traditional” real estate career at sixteen years of age as a Junior Receptionist. In the same year, I made my first venture to a remote location in Tasmania, Bruny Island on a surfing trip. I was recruited straight out of school by one of Launceston’s most prestigious Real Estate firms, beginning my career in a sales based environment. Here, I moved from Junior Receptionist to Office Manager and then to Sales Department Manager before I turned twenty. I continued my career in a globally renowned firm to expand my knowledge into Property Management where I spent nine months in L.A through an international transfer working in this field. I returned to Tasmania to move into a statewide Business Development position. It was here, post working internationally and paired with regular Bruny Island vacations that I began to understand the demand for a property management company that specialises in vacation rentals. Hideaway Management was born in 2019 and was the first property management company to service this remote location, and created to support this was also the first cleaning and labour company in the area. Eighteen months after its creation, our cleaning and labour division was then sold. Leaving us with what we do best, investors and property management. We have since gone on to expand, now servicing Tasmania entirely as well as Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast QLD. With our eyes on further areas. I have set myself the goal of activating and embracing change within the Real Estate industry and the company has now been successfully operating for over three years, weathering the Covid-19 pandemic. My passion for tourism, and helping investors achieve outstanding results is my highest ideal.
