As the Human Resource Director at the Chippewa of the Thames First Nation, I am committed to servant leadership and to building people-first, innovative solutions that foster employee development, satisfaction, and organizational excellence. I believe that when people thrive, organizations thrive — and I strive to create systems and strategies that empower both. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a passion for human resources, partnership creation, and lifelong learning. My experiences across public and private sectors, in organizations of all sizes, have given me a strong understanding of how organizations function and how meaningful, sustainable change can be achieved. As a Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) and lifelong learner with an MBA, I continuously seek out best practices while embracing new approaches to the evolving challenges of today’s workplaces. My aim is to balance systems thinking with human-centered innovation, ensuring that HR not only supports but actively accelerates organizational growth and employee success. I am also a multi-passionate professional who enjoys conversations about leadership, higher education, career development, HR strategy, and the future of work. Beyond my role, I occasionally take on consulting and, most importantly, I am a proud full-time mom.
