About Tasha Preisner

Over two decades of expertise in financial management and tax services I established my practice in February 2012 to empower small businesses with professional financial support, sparing them the need for full-time accounting staff. In 2023, I realized that I could do more to help businesses thrive with a team than I ever could alone. So I joined forces with Erik DeMar and helped build DeMar Consulting Group. Together we have built an organization dedicated to bring the experience of having a large corporate finance office to businesses that otherwise couldn't afford to have one by providing those finance services at a fractional rate. This method has filled a need in the business community allowing not only us to thrive as an organization, but allowing our clients to thrive along side of us. In 2025, I have been given the honor of serving as a member of the Taxpayer Advocacy Panel (TAP). This allows me to be the voice of the people inside the IRS to help improve the IRS from within as a civilian volunteer. The homepage of the TAP website says it best when it states "We're the voice between the IRS and you." I am willing to be your listening ear and your voice if you will let me. My desire in life has never changed. I have always wanted to use my distinct skillset to make the world just a little bit better place to live. If I have done that by the time that I die, then I will have lived a good life and have left a good legacy.
