About Tate Berry

Recent graduate of the University of Missouri-Kansas City with degrees in Jazz Studies and Business Administration, both with Latin Honors. At UMKC, I was given the resources to lead my own music-based businesses, and help others succeed in any field. Without the Bloch School especially, I would not have made it as far in music as I have. At the Bloch School, I was the Student Entrepreneur of the Year in 2022, was the Bloch School Student Association President (student government) for two years, and developed numerous in-depth business plans and ideas for many music-based businesses. At the Conservatory, I learned how to perform on a high level on seven different woodwinds, wrote many detailed jazz compositions, learned how to teach music, and learned how to improvise in jazz and in many various non-musical situations (including in marketing and business management). Opportunity recognition is my #1 focus every day of my life.
