About Tate Brown

I am a Chief Financial Officer and licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with active licenses in Colorado and Florida. Over my 25 years as a CPA, I have served in public practice and as an executive for companies in a variety of industries in both full-time and fractional CFO roles. I am passionate about providing a foundation of meaningful financial reports and identifying key-performance indicators to lead to decisions that increase enterprise values. My skills have proven to be transferable across multiple industries and my clients/employers have been small and mid-size businesses up to $100 million in revenue. My industry experience includes software (SAAS), construction, hospitality, portable storage, solar, wholesale distribution, retail and investment funds. I have a track record of transforming financial statements, implementing policies and procedures and mentoring others. I am not afraid to roll up my sleeves to get things done when needed and have also been heavily involved in operations and oversight of human resources for over 250 employees. I live in Palm Harbor Florida (near Tampa) with my family. I enjoy golfing, sports, world travel and playing on the beach with my family.
