Ph.D. candidate in Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee, expected to graduate in August 2024. Seeking a Senior scientist/Scientist/Post-doctoral position in cancer research. I possess extensive experience in diverse STEM projects, ranging from Astaxanthin extraction at AlgaXperts, LLC, to roles as a Production Specialist at 3D Molecular Designs, Intern Engineer at Siemens Energy, Manufacturing Specialist at Henkel, Manufacturing Engineer at GE healthcare, and Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee.Following my undergraduate degree, I excelled in various roles, including manufacturing specialist at Henkel Corporation and Manufacturing Engineer at GE Healthcare. Currently, I am a Research Assistant at UWM, where I focus on studying anticancer prodrugs and reactive oxygen species (ROS) generating compounds. My responsibilities include investigating the biological effects of ROS-activated nitrogen mustard-containing compounds, assessing their safety and efficacy, and elucidating their mechanisms of action through in vitro and in vivo studies.Throughout my career, I have demonstrated the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary research teams from institutions such as UWM, Medical College of Wisconsin, Simmaron Research INC, and Dr. Zhou Gang’s lab at Georgia Cancer Center. I am dedicated to contributing insights and expertise to collective problem-solving efforts and fostering a collaborative research environment.
