My background is as a manager, an administrator, and in sales so I am always looking to utilize my proactivity, organization, and collaboration skills to make my coworkers and clients lives better. I am a life learner who goes deep with all of my interests (with certificates and degrees in political science, field botany, clinical herbalism, and nutrition to boot) and software development is an infinite playground! I am an empath and communicator:) My work in a cooperative and in administration makes me a great team player and leader-from-within. I have a bachelor's degree in politics because I care about the systems that shape our civilization. I would love to use my skills in front end development to be part of this conversation about how we are designing the future tech of the world so that we can make sure we are all included. I greatly value diversity, inclusion, and accessibility, and I am looking to extend my reach and community as a queer Latina. I am most passionate about projects that support the environment and contribute positive change to diverse communities! My work with Skillcrush both as a student and as an Enrollment Counselor, and my introduction to the greater community of techies thru Lesbians Who Tech, has blown my mind and cued me into the amazing power present within the tech community. Now I can't see myself anywhere else- I am master's degree switchee from SJSU, degree in Library Science with a focus on Web Design and Information Architecture! I am SO PROUD AND ENTHUSED to be dedicating the same amount of energy and focus on developing more hard skills to contribute to this community and as an outlet for myself.
