About Tauseef Islam

I joined Shell Pakistan in 1988 after completing Master’s degree in Physics from University of Karachi and was associated with Shell for 27 years. During this period I worked for Shell in Singapore for approx 7 years and returned to Pakistan in Jan 2009. Bulk of my career with Shell was spent in managing Supply Chain, initially bulk fuels and during the latter part of my career, I was responsible for managing Lubricant Supply Chain across a cluster of countries (Pakistan, India, UAE, Oman & CAS). Lubricant supply chain entailed Blending Plant operation, Logistics (transport & warehousing) and Production Planning & raw material sourcing. I left Shell in Dec 2015 to join a non-profit organization, The Citizens Foundation (TCF). Currently I am working for The Citizens Foundation (TCF) in the capacity of Executive Vice President Operations. I am responsible for managing the school network of 1,350 TCF school units across Pakistan that cater to students from less privileged areas. In addition to managing school operations, which is by far the largest segment of TCF operations, I am also responsible for Engineering, Supply Chain & Community Development Unit.
