About Tavia Evans

I am working together with international collaborators towards better global representation within imaging research of neurodegeneration. For this I have co-founded the UNITED consortium to bring together global neuroimaging data, especially sites often left out of large consortia due to resource limitations. 🧠The main element within my research is the possibilities of low-field MRI. These innovative systems will be transformative within accessible research and care. We are currently looking for partners to further explore together the possibilities of portable low-field MRI, especially in the field of neurodegeneration and aging. I am currently working on; 🧬 Better exploration of population subgroups through genetic ancestry investigating the differences of imaging patterns in neurodegeneration More accessible methods of neuroimaging for global communities; i.e. transporting low-field MRI to the people! In the next few months will be present at: Low-field NEURO, November 2025 (Bordeaux) AD/PD, May 2026 (Copenhagen) GBHI/AAIC satellite, April 2026 (Istanbul) Always open and keen to talk about the research!
