I am a Chartered Accountant, with over 10 years' experience. I served my Articles of Clerkship with Grant Thornton (GT), a leading global accounting firm.After 4,5 years at GT, in 2017 I joined the Rift Valley Group under its subsidiary Northern farming which was one of the largest private crop contractor producing an average annual yield of where I rose through the ranks from the position of Assistant Accountant to Financial Controller within 2 years. In 2020, I was transferred to Rift Valley Head Office to manage multiple onshore and offshore entities. I am currently occupying the position of Finance Manager at Corefields Investments (A BlackBox Subsidiary), an agribusiness specializing in row cropping, soft commodity trading, manufacturing and down packing of dry foods. I had the opportunity to join Corefields as a new business which gave me unique experience in working closely with Shareholders to guide the company's financial direction and setting up of the business structures.With a Chartered Accountant Professional Qualification, Corporate Finance Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Accounting Sciences, I have a strong background that complements my practical experience in corporate finance, business management, taxation and accounting.
