About Taylor Armstrong

Currently a senior account manager at a Melbourne based music business management firm, White Sky Music. Specialising in the financial management of music industry professionals including touring artists, tour promoters, record labels, e-commerce stores and artist managers. Offering services from the day-to-day bookkeeping/compliance all the way through to budgeting, reporting and analysing touring activity and release cycles. I have contributed to the product design and research of the Tour Budgeting and Analytics tool, TourTracks. TourTracks has been built with the goal of streamlining the financial components of a tour, while providing insights that otherwise were not available. Driven by a passion for going deeper than the profit and loss, I have recently started a degree in Computer Science majoring in Data Science and Software Engineering along with working through short online certificates. In practice I have built tools utilising VBA to automate regular processes, Python to extract data from third party API's and SQL to analyse royalty data.
