About Taylor Ball

I’m on a mission to make business better for people and our planet. During my University of Toronto Master’s degree in Sustainability Management (aka my ‘MBA in Sustainability’), I became obsessed with how to future-proof business and develop long-term sustainable strategies. I’m relentlessly curious and always eager to learn, whether in a classroom or out in the world. This curiosity helped me excel at top institutions. In addition to my Master's degree, I graduated in the top 10% of my class at the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University. I aced a four-course certificate in Corporate Sustainability and Innovation at Harvard. I’ve also gained international experience thanks to 3 semesters abroad at the London School of Economics, HEC Paris, and the University of Copenhagen. As a clear and confident communicator, I can bridge the gap between business and science. Whether delivering a TEDx talk or crafting research-heavy articles for national and regional publications, I’m known for my ability to connect seemingly unrelated ideas into a coherent argument. I take pride in being a strong team player and believe, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” Thanks to excellent teammates, I’ve won multiple national and international case competitions - most recently, the RBC x Rotman Sustainable Finance Competition with a cash prize. In my Master’s degree, I was elected class president and received the Principal’s Award of Excellence in Student Leadership and the UTM Student Leadership Award in Sustainability.
