About Taylor Beck

Working as a leader for over six years, I was part of the Lean Manufacturing transformation that culminated in the company receiving The Shingo Prize, which is the world’s top manufacturing award. Four years ago I transitioned from Manufacturing Leadership to Engineering. Having spent so much time in manufacturing, I have a unique perspective on how to approach solving engineering problems. As a Process Engineer, I had many different responsibilities. I was directly responsible for the quality of the product. I designed and implemented new process as well as product upgrades. Most recently, I have worked as a Sales Engineer working with our customers to develop a relationship of trust. Much of my time was spend with the customer to understand their individual problems and concerns. It was then my responsibility to develop new products to provide them with a solution specific to them. I followed the product all the way from design concept through full production
