Hello, my name is Taylor Beld. I completed my Bachelor’s of Science in Construction Management at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado in 2017. I am currently working as a Project Engineer for Hensel Phelps Construction Company. My work experience includes two internships with Hensel Phelps over the summers of 2015 and 2016, and full time employment beginning the summer of 2017. In this time, I have gained experience in various aspects of project delivery, including Safety, Quality Control, Self-Work Layout & Primary Control, Purchasing, Exterior Skin and Close-In, Structural Steel, Cast-In-Place and PT Concrete, Contract Management, Document Management, Pre-Construction & Design Services, Public Sector Owner’s Representation, and Lab / Medical / Vivarium facility construction. I have worked on a variety of projects, including data centers, airports, hotels, condos, office space, and heavy civil / flatwork with renowned owners like the City & County of Denver, Universal Studios, and the Colorado Rockies. These opportunities have allowed me to gain valuable experience in both private and public sectors. I just recently completed a successful delivery of McGregor Square in downtown Denver, CO - a landmark 3 tower multi-use development that encompasses a Denver City block, and will reshape how both tourists and Coloradans interact with the Ballpark District and Lower Downtown. My last assignment consisted of owners representation for City and County of Denver on the redevelopment of the National Western Center which will enable future generations to continue to enjoy the amenities and yearly festivities associated with WSSA’s Stock Show. I am currently assigned to a project in Hamilton, MT working to create a next generation laboratory and vivarium for the National Institute of Health at their Rocky Mountain Labs facility.
