As an Information Security Risk Advisor at UBC, I advise initiatives on Privacy and Information Security risk and support in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies. Ensuring alignment with BC FOIPPA and UBC information security standards. This at times includes providing guidance and recommendations to various stakeholders across the university. I have multiple years of IT experience, with a focus on Information Security, in both the finance and health sectors. I have strong skills in Systems Administration and Automation, Data Analysis, and Business Process Improvement, which I leveraged to enhance the security posture and performance of the systems and networks I managed. I am a self-motivated, hardworking individual who seeks out problems and determines solutions to address the root cause. I enjoy overcoming challenges and solving difficult problems that push me to learn something new. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Commerce, majoring in Operations Management, from Edwards School of Business, and several certifications, such as Lean Green Belt, Jamf Certified Associate, and CompTIA Network+.
