Background

About Taylor Callihan

Attentive to urgency, yet still proactive in thinking and action, always seeking answers to the tough questions, I am deliberate in my actions to do so persistently, when mentoring or teaching others, consciously employing empathy when my actions will affect others. I value positioning myself to serve as a mentor, but an observant mentor who actively seeks evidence that my student are not only learning, but thriving. Those who know me would say that I am consistently on-time, prepared and proactive; consistently diligent in showing initiative – willing to take on roles that others might have refused to assume – and a positive force for change and building new skills, knowledge and experiences in my students. My future employer and colleagues will know me as someone who is approachable, genuinely interested in their lives and well-being, and infinitely enthusiastic, always seeking new ways of bringing unique and creative learning opportunities to the next generation.
