About Taylor Funk

I am a current per diem therapist who works in the acute care setting. Being a per diem therapist, I am able to float between various floors, hospitals, and care levels (general care to ICU) to be able to treat patients with a wide variety of diagnoses and conditions. I am to utilize my skills and adaptability to treat patients with musculoskeletal, orthopedic, neurological, cardiovascular, and oncological conditions. Through my experiences, I have been able to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary team members to help facilitate discharge planning and encouraging optimal patient care. Patient and family centered care is imperative during the rehabilitation process, and I work hard to listen to each patient to create an individualized treatment plan that will benefit them. Also, I believe in the importance of continued learning and seeking out new research in the physical therapy profession to maximize patient outcomes.
