I am Taylor Gottbetter, an innovative educator with a keen eye for creative storytelling and a dedication to fostering meaningful connections with my students. Currently, I serve as a 3rd Grade Religious School Teacher at Temple Beth Hillel, where I craft engaging lesson plans and presentations on Jewish values, creating a positive classroom culture that resonates with young minds. Simultaneously, I hold the role of a 6th Grade Kesher Teacher at Adat Ari El, where I design captivating lessons on Jewish values for 6th graders and integrate these principles into Adat's teen philanthropy program. This dual role allows me to impact students at different stages of their educational journey, emphasizing the importance of values and community. My journey extends beyond the classroom, having navigated diverse roles. As a Driver | Cashier at Maria's Italian Kitchen, I honed my customer service skills, managing orders, alterations, and substitutions for over 60 customers daily. Meanwhile, my stint as a Health & Safety Assistant at Paramount Pictures equipped me with the ability to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment for over 200 production members during challenging times, notably the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. In the realm of entertainment, I ventured into the film industry as a Development Intern at Don Kee Productions, where I evaluated screenplays and collaborated on engaging social media content. Prior to this, my time at KVCM College Radio as Club Secretary and Promo Director allowed me to marry my passion for media with community engagement, fostering partnerships between the radio station, student government, and various student-led organizations. Education-wise, I hold a BA in Screenwriting from Cal State University - Northridge and an AA in Electronic Media Production from Los Angeles Valley College. These academic experiences have equipped me with a rich understanding of storytelling and media production, enhancing my ability to create dynamic and impactful learning experiences.
