About Taylor Gray

I am a Senior Marketing Major at Miami University Farmer School of Business seeking a full-time sales or marketing position after graduating in December located in the Dayton area. I am passionate about being creative by ideating, innovating, and using effective strategies to market. I haved expanded my knowledge of these topics at Miami through my courses. At Miami, I have learned useful technical skills to broaden my ability for not just marketing, but data analytics as well. These include SQL, Python, Access, Excel, and other Microsoft/Google software. The First Year Integrated Core gave me the opportunity to work in a team of individuals with diverse perspectives and allowed me to build my teamwork and leadership skills. Through the FYIC Client Challenge, I worked with a team to solve a company's problems and presented a solution to a real client. In doing so, I was able to apply the skills I have learned in a real-world example that will help me in my future endeavors. In addition to my commitment in the classroom, I am a member of AWE, Advancing Women in Entrepreneurship. I have gained many valuable experiences through being a member by developing entrepreneurial leadership and empowering females in business. Being able to acquire an internship through Miami has been a fantastic experience working as an HR Intern for Miami Catering. My responsibilities include conducting orientations for new hires, helping with the onboarding process, and filling shifts when low on staff to help manage and serve the catering event. In past years, I have worked at a local coffee shop as a barista and a local boutique as a sales and marketing coordinator. I have gained skills in customer service, communication, and leadership from these experiences. In my free time, I enjoy playing volleyball, basketball, and golfing. I am excited to continue my education and leadership at Miami and further gain skills that will contribute to my future career. I look forward to connecting with you.
