About Taylor Henry

I am a licensed clinical social worker. I currently own and operate at Southeastern Counseling, LLC which is a private practice that focuses on allowing people to develop a sense of peace even in the most difficult of times. My theoretical framework is cognitive theory, family systems theory and strengths perspective. I am proficient at Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Existential Therapy. I have a certification in Marriage and Family Therapy, and in the Treatment of Anxiety Disorders. The populations I have experience with are Depressive Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, Substance Use Disorder, and other intensive outpatient level of care. I am continually learning different therapy techniques to become more proficient at my craft. I would like to expand my skill set to include solutions-focused therapy, motivational therapy, and different styles of family systems therapy with a focus on structural family therapy and cognitive behavioral family therapy.
