About Taylor Hines

I am attending Montclair State University; currently working on getting my bachelors in business administration with a concentration of finance. Ultimately getting my masters in business administration. My current position at Valley National Bank is a Part-time Universal Banker. My experience starts with retail and migrates to the banking industry. Through my time as a part-time sales associate at Forever 21, I have strengthened my customer service skills by being attentive and alert. The needs of our customers was my number one priority; so I assisted them thoroughly by helping them locate merchandise or exchanging an item for a similar piece. As a cashier I developed cash handling skills and made more connections to keep our customers returning. My time as a part-time teller and universal banker at Valley Bank was different from the retail industry. The professionalisms of the environment to the sales of banking products was a nice change of pace. I was able to discover how to assess customer needs thorough by actively listening. This allowed me to recommend appropriate products and quickly handle their transactions.
