I have a degree from Community College of Philadelphia and I am currently working as a Patient Service Representative at Quest Diagnostics, a leading provider of diagnostic testing and information services. I have over two years of experience in obtaining blood samples through proper venipuncture procedure and preparing them for testing and diagnosis. I also have a year of experience as a Specimen Processor, where I received and accessioned specimens of various bodily fluids and verified the accuracy of the requisitions. In my current and previous roles at Quest Diagnostics, I have demonstrated my skills in food safety, cash handling, and asset protection, as well as my ability to adhere to all HIPPA laws and regulations, practice proper infection control and safety precautions, and maintain quality production and speed. I enjoy working with patients and building a rapport and trust with them to ease their anxiety or discomfort during procedures. I am motivated by the opportunity to contribute to the health and well-being of the communities we serve and to learn from the diverse perspectives and experiences of my colleagues and customers. I am looking for a position that will allow me to grow my skills and knowledge in the diagnostic testing and information services industry and to support the mission and vision of Quest Diagnostics.
