About Taylor Hudson

Past Accomplishments- Graduated from Wor-Wic Community College with honors and in Phi Theta Kappa. I was also a student ambassador for a semester and on the Dean’s List twice - Graduated from the University of Maryland with a BA in Linguistics with a minor in Korean Studies, while also assisting in the Child Language Lab and the Language Partner Program Currently- I have been contracted with the Army Research Lab since March 2020. I have been adding to the annotation guidelines for the lab's human-robot dialogue corpus since the beginning and this is an area I have expertise in. I've also worked on semantic parsing using the representational language called Abstract Meaning Representation (AMR). I've also been working for over a year on COVID misinformation research, using fallacy annotation schemas. The next project for the new year is to work on rich event ontology by using manual and automatic mapping- I am currently enrolled at Wor-Wic Community College again and working on an AA in Information Systems to have more background in the Computer Science field. Future Possibilities- Once I'm finished with the Computer Studies courses at Wor-Wic, I hope to then apply to graduate schools so I can earn an MS in Linguistics.
