About Taylor L.

I am constantly pushing myself out of my comfort zone to learn and grow. Ultimately recognizing that I am a work in progress. It is this recognition, in part, that makes me a better leader. Quelling the self-doubt that many of us grapple with is a critical step in continually striving for challenge and overcoming inevitable moments of failure. The world is reaching a critical crossroad with many challenges, climate change and environmental health are chief among them. Becoming a leader in energy management and working to leave the world a healthier place is where I find my passion. Throughout my academic and professional experience, I have established valuable interpersonal and leadership skills and thrive in a team environment. Effective communication is one of my strengths, developed by engaging the interests of diverse audiences and stakeholders. As Manager of the Sustainability Ambassador program for National Grid, I lead a team which works to enhance customer partnerships and educate the local community, while improving the National Grid brand. By establishing these relationships, we explore the shared vision of a future where we better embrace energy efficiency and sustainability concepts, teaching the energy leaders of tomorrow.
