About Taylor Lang

Hi! I am Taylor Lang and I am a junior at UC Berkeley. In May 2026, I will receive my B.S. in Environmental Economics & Policy with a minors in City & Regional Planning and Data Science.My interdisciplinary course of study has fueled my interest in pursuing a career in environmental and design consulting with specific interests in land use, energy efficiency, and sustainable urban development. My courses have given me analytical skills through exposure to sociological and economic theory and technical skills from exposure to Python, R, SQL, arcGIS, and Excel. Currently I am an intern at a sustainable energy engineering consulting Firm, Altura working on their Environmental Programs, the USG of Logistics for Berkeley Model United Nations' 73rd session, and Director of Philanthropy for Chi Omega. In the past, I interned at the District Office for California State Senator Nancy Skinner representing District 9, served as a Research Fellow for UC Berkeley’s Institute of International Studies, USG of Organizations & Philanthropy for BMUN's 72nd session, and served research apprenticeship roles for the College of Natural Resources and College of Letters & Sciences.
