About Taylor Lanton

Humanitarian aid and emergency response professional dedicated to creating conflict and disaster resilient communities among the most vulnerable. Currently, I am the Head of Programming for Catholic Relief Services (CRS) based in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Previously, I was the Emergency Coordinator for CRS DRC, supporting the implementation of high-quality emergency response and early recovery projects in the food security and agricultural livelihoods (FSL); cash and voucher programming (CVP); water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH); shelter; and non-food items (NFI) sectors. Before arriving in DRC, I was the Deputy Head of Programming for CRS' Sudan Country Program, based in Khartoum and the Darfur region, responsible for supporting the management of the programming portfolio. I have also worked in Juba, South Sudan for CRS' South Sudan Country Program as the Emergency Program Manager, and the United States Peace Corps in Benin as the WASH Coordinator, practicing international development at the community level. I have nine years of experience in the design, start-up, implementation, and close-out of humanitarian aid and international development programs.
