I possess 20 years of experience as an Investigator and a retired Law Enforcement Officer, having worked with various city, county, state, and federal entities. My areas of expertise encompass fatality investigations, construction job site inspections, safety risk management, construction risk management, operational budget management, internal employee investigations, and complex claims and investigations. I have a strong background in workplace violence prevention programs, construction health and safety, public presentations, outreach initiatives, harassment investigations, root cause analysis, risk analyses, traffic accident investigations, and CAL/OSHA investigations. Additionally, I have led state-wide investigations, which include homicide cases, public corruption, officer-involved shootings, suspicious deaths, casualty claims, insurance fraud, and various violent crimes. I have also provided dignitary protection for high-profile individuals, including former Vice Presidents, members of Congress, and local dignitaries. Moreover, I have experience in training investigators on protocols and procedures, and I have effectively led teams during state emergencies, such as responses to wildland fires, flooding, riots, and other critical incidents. My roles have included serving as a Sergeant in multiple command posts, where I organized staff, operations, and resources during such events.
