About Taylor MacDonald

Taylor MacDonald is a motivated, hard-working and organized student who plans to graduate from Renaissance College with a Bachelor of Philosophy in Interdisciplinary Leadership with a minor in Law and Society in Spring 2024. Following graduation, she plans to pursue further education in philosophy, social development and gender and sexual diversity studies.Taylor has experience in social media and advertising from her previous work at the University Women’s Center where she was responsible for communications. In addition to this role, Taylor also held a position at the Univerity of New Brunswick’s Office of Experiential Education for her Canadian internship placement. From this experience, they learned valuable skills in multi-tasking, problem-solving, time management and professional communication. At the Office of Experiential Education, Taylor prepared promotional materials for several opportunities at UNB for a number of different audiences including staff, faculty, future partners and prospective students. Taylor has achieved DELF (Diplôme D'Études en Langue Française) B1 certification as bilingual and has work experience in both English and French. In Summer 2022, she completed an international internship placement with l’Arche in France working entirely in French in a position with adults with intellectual disabilities. In this role, Taylor learned the importance of patience in high-stress situations and responsibility for the safety of others. Taylor also has over three years of experience in the food service industry working in high volumes with the public.
