About Taylor MacLeod

In May of 2015, I graduated from Boston College with a Bachelor of Science degree. During my time at school, I was president of a nineteen-person a cappella group, The Boston College Acoustics. At the beginning of my senior year, I coordinated Acappellafest, an annual show that raises money for The Morgan Center, a non-profit preschool on Long Island that provides a safe and fun environment for children while they undergo cancer treatment. The show raised for the organization. I also initiated and coordinated the recording of one album in 2014 and one in 2015. Both of these albums were digitally distributed to iTunes, Spotify, and Loudr. From the summer of 2013 to the fall of 2014, I performed medical research at Harvard Institutes of Medicines in a Renal/Oncology lab of Dr. Andreas Herrlich; my apoptosis and proliferation assays contributed to the research of a growth factor called ADAM17. I presented to a team of researchers throughout my time and contributed to the grant presentations and publications of Dr. Herrlich.Since graduating, with the initial intent to pursue Physician Assistant school, I received my Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Care Aide certifications and am working as a medical assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Throughout my employment, I will be rotating through 12 different units within Brigham Medical Specialties to provide healthcare and learn different clinical skills. With a strong foundation in both the clinical and research sides of the medical field, I have drawn my attention to pursuing a career in the Customer Success space, focusing on value delivery and strategic advising of life sciences companies.
