About Taylor McIntyre

I’m a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist serving students across New York City and beyond, with multi-state licensure in Georgia, Virginia, New Jersey, and New York. Currently, I provide school-based speech and language services in an NYC DOE school in Brooklyn while also supporting pediatric clients and educational organizations through telepractice. With a foundation in both General and Special Education, I bring a holistic, student-centered approach to communication—helping children and adolescents build confidence, advocacy, and authentic self-expression. I hold a B.A. and M.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Hampton University, where I completed my graduate degree in 2022. My expertise includes autism spectrum disorders, speech sound disorders, language development, social-pragmatic communication, and literacy-based intervention. I’m passionate about making therapy meaningful and accessible—bridging the gap between education, culture, and creativity so every child feels seen, heard, and supported. Lately, I’ve felt a growing pull toward sharing what I’ve learned with others—whether that’s speaking, leading trainings, or starting conversations about autism awareness, communication accessibility, and culturally responsive care. I’m still growing into that space, but my heart is to use my voice to equip, encourage, and empower others through both evidence-based practice and faith-filled purpose. Outside of work, I’m fueled by the arts, philanthropy, and global travel, finding inspiration in every story, song, and culture I encounter.
