I enjoy a challenge! With my competitive nature, I strive to be the best in all that I do. If you are going to take the time to do it, you might was well do it well. I won awards for top marks in school, and top sales with Enterprise. While driving truck the last few years, any of our customers knew that any load that had been assigned to me was sure to be completed safely and on time. I have always enjoyed driving, and the demand for truck drivers was high, so I gave it a shot. When Covid hit, working in an industry that was guaranteed to keep going didn't seem like too bad of an idea. However, I am hoping to find something with a bit more potential. I enjoy dealing with people. Work that involves meeting and getting to know people keeps things interesting. Training with new employees and seeing them grow was one of the most fulfilling things about my management position. My previous experience includes sales and management in the car industry. My time in car rental has fuelled my interest in the hospitality industry. I also have a strong interest in the financial world and have been managing my own investments for some time. Assistant Manager for Enterprise: Running the rental counter and keeping track of drivers, wash bay personnel, and cars was the main bulk of the job. On a personal level, I was recognized for top sales in the group, and for being among the top for revenue from new corporate accounts. Those results were largely made possible through sales calls and building relationships with key accounts. While getting a chance to see how many people really do fly in and out of Regina, we grew our share of the rental market significantly. I completed the Bachelor of Business Administration Program, through the Hill School of Business, at the University of Regina, in April. I was one of the top students in the program, earning the Academic Gold Scholarship multiple semesters (top 1% of faculty), and my final undergraduate GPA was 88.82%. I maintained a well-rounded focus, completing the requirements for both the Finance and Marketing majors. Right now, I am looking for an interesting opportunity in or around Regina. I am hoping to find a position that I can look forward to when I wake up each day. Whether the people I am dealing with keep it interesting, or there is an opportunity to learn something new, I am excited to get started on my next adventure.
