About Taylor Nelles

I love problem solving from a people centric, data driven focus. I am a go-getter with a positive attitude and enjoy collaboration with others. My previous experience consists of years of customer service, sales and management positions. These experiences have given me the skills needed to thrive in a team environment while meeting goals from a data standpoint. Working with others fills my cup and being an admirable leader is something I strive to accomplish every day - inside and outside of the office. During my time at Montana State University, one of my favorite classes was my information technology course. I enjoyed finding solutions to the problems we were solving along with manipulating data to tell different stories. I found my passion for sales in my position as a manager at AK Starfish when I was 19. I enjoyed getting to help men and women find apparel that made them feel beautiful and confident inside and out. My experience in insurance further grew my love of sales and helping people. As someone who is new to the work force, I wanted to explore all of my passions. This included data analysis - which landed me as a Prospect Development Specialist at the University of Colorado. As a Prospect Development Specialist, my job is to act as a liaison between campuses to extract donor and donor officer data to explore further fundraising opportunities within our community. You will find me manipulating data and presenting different stories to the teams on these campuses in order to grow our Advancement Department.
