About Taylor Parker

I'm currently an Auxiliar de Conversación at Colegio Sagrado Corazón Capuchinos in Madrid, Spain. I've been working as an Auxiliar for the last six years, in various schools around the Comunidad de Madrid. I moved to Madrid (Aranjuez) in September of 2016 after completing my college degree that May. I graduated from Louisiana Tech University (BA in English Literature with a minor in Spanish Language) with Honors, Summa Cum Laude, after just three years. My initial goal was to move to Spain as a gap year, teaching ESL and reaching fluency with the language, and then return to the United States to find an avenue into the world of Major League Baseball. However, I quickly fell in love with Madrid and with teaching English, and I have been here ever since. During my Junior/Senior year of studies at Louisiana Tech, I worked as a Content Writer for a start-up based in Shreveport, Louisiana called BlueArx. I am a native English speaker with Spanish language proficiency (C1 level). I'm a strong reader and writer, and a warm but direct person. I have the ability to lead discussion, give guidance and support, teach, learn, and help.
