About Taylor Peek
I am a recent Alum of Wartburg College as I graduated in May of 2016 with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Also, I am a proud Alum of the Wartburg Choir. I have had amazing musical experiences throughout my time at Wartburg including traveling Europe with the Wartburg Choir for three weeks, being a Meistersinger All-State camp counselor,participating in Christmas with Wartburg, and the many field and student teaching experiences that have given me a chance to be in the classroom and work with children. I am excited to start my first year as the K-5 General Music Teacher for the Harlan Community School District in Harlan, IA. The musical experiences that i have had at Wartburg have solidified my passion for being a music educator, and I look forward to giving my students the same amazing musical experiences. My membership in professional organizations such as NAFME and ACDA have allowed me to keep up with the musical happenings throughout the country, and to gain more experience in my field of study.
