I am passionate for all things radio-related, especially in the non-commercial sector (NCE). I firmly believe that broadcasting has the power to unite all persons in a given area, regardless of political affiliation, gender, race, sexual orientation, or religious belief. I am interested in using my experience in NCE broadcasting to create local, educational programs related to ongoing Minnesota issues. Having served in high-stakes roles throughout my career, I became enamored with the potential for broadcasting – and similarly like-minded industries – to serve as a guardian of the public interest without presupposition or bias. Furthermore, I have learned the value of remaining focused under pressure, and am living proof that unfamiliar tasks are not insurmountable, so long as the operator has the correct underlying values. I am also interested in employment through the information technology, political, and public history sectors.
