About Taylor Saunders

I am a student from Lancaster, California, and I have worked in various positions since 2018, amounting to a total of nearly 5 years of work experience, to fund my educational journey and gain both professional and soft skills. I earned two academic scholarships at my community college, Antelope Valley College, and completed my Computer Software Development associate degree in 2022. I am a student at Arizona State University, majoring in Geographic Information Systems and will graduate with my Bachelor of Science in Fall 2024. Additionally, I am dual enrolled at Antelope Valley College to get my Deaf Studies/American Sign Language associate degree, which I will also get in Fall 2024. I work under the head of the Deaf Studies department at AVC as a Supplemental Instructor. I am extremely passionate about Data Science, and every time I interact with my peers and my own students, I push them to become the best person they can be. I encourage others to hone their strengths to make the world a better place and am a natural leader. I pride myself in being well rounded and passionate about many subjects, and am enthusiastic about any opportunities that come my way.
