I'm currently in my third year of study at Sprott School of Business with a concentration in accounting at Carleton University. I have always been interested and good with numbers and I became fascinated by the principles of accounting in my intro course, and now I've made it through three years of study in the accounting field gaining more and more knowledge along the way. I have worked in customer service for several years and I have developed excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and teamwork skills. However this winter I will be working my first Co-op term as a staff accountant at Welch LLP. In addition I have played on the Carleton Women's Soccer team through my years at Carleton, which has allowed me to develop my teamwork skills, work ethic, and time management skills as well. My longterm plan is to finish my degree, earn my CPA, and work in the accounting field.
