About Taylor Spoon

I graduated from North Carolina State University in May of 2016 with a BA in Sociology and a BA in International Studies with a concentration in global development and sustainability. Previously, i was a research assistant for the 5 year NSF funded project, EvalFest. A research oriented community that focus on evaluation capacity building and community level data. While I was with EvalFest, I helped with analyzing data from previous festival seasons, I have programmed surveys for over 20 festivals using complex Quicktap skip logic coding, and I have served as a constant contact for all festival teams. I also participated in the IPSEC 2017 conference, and co-led a presentation at the 2017 EvalFest annual meeting in Madison, Wisconsin. I have volunteer experience both domestically and abroad, and created a NCSU funded nonprofit initiative in 2016.My experience includes volunteer management, budgeting, survey research, grant writing, social media outreach, advocacy, and nonprofit management. My academic background is based in international studies and sociology, and I have experience in both qualitative and quantitative research. I have experience using qualtrics and have some experience using the SPSS program. I competed in the undergraduate research symposium with my Intl. Studies thesis Turkey; Human Rights & Internet Regulations. I have worked in the beer and alcoholic beverage industry for the past 6 years. I have experience in sales, customer service, and production. Within production i have worked in everything from packaging, inventory, all cellar work including CIP,SIP, and transfers, as well as brewing on a 10 barrel and 15 barrel brewhouse. I also led the Pink Boots Society local chapter for two years.
