I am a Master of Public Health in Applied Epidemiology candidate with a background in biomedicine and microbiological bench research seeking to apply epidemiological methods and systems-thinking approaches to disease surveillance and prevention. My professional interests lie at the intersection of maternal, child, and adolescent health, disability justice, and infectious disease epidemiology. I am highly passionate about the impact of systemic and interpersonal ableism on health outcomes in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through volunteer work, community engagement, and federally-funded training in MCH leadership and developmental disabilities, I have gained significant experience in community-led advocacy and interdisciplinary collaboration. As a data analyst, I am familiar with statistical methods and programming in SAS, R, and Stata.
