Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a triple-minor in Neuroscience, General Chemistry, and Mathematics at the University of Mary Washington, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning a Departmental Award with the Department of Biological Sciences. Demonstrated leadership skills by serving as President of the Pre-Medical, Dental, & PA Society at the University of Mary Washington. Obtained extensive public speaking and research experience by presenting three research papers and one poster to the faculty and staff of the University of Mary Washington in the fields of Plant Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Developmental Biology. Obtained a Master of Science degree in Microbiology and Cell Science, concentration in Medical Microbiology and Biochemistry from the University of Florida's College of Agricultural & Life Sciences, continuing research on genetic cloning and protein signaling pathways while writing a comprehensive literature review on the multi-drug and pan-resistant of antibiotics. Currently studying for a Master of Science with a major in Biomedical Neuroscience at the University of Florida College of Medicine with my primary research interests consisting of molecular pathology and neurobiology of neurodegenerative diseases and behavioral disorders. Chosen to work as a Surgical/Medical Assistant and Patient Care Technician in the Northern Virginia and Greater Washington, D.C. area, where I have gained extensive clinical experience in family medicine, primary & urgent care, cardiology, phlebology, pain management, and orthopedics, earning over clinical hours. I was chosen to work as a contracted research biologist for American Type Cell Culture, where I participated in biological resource production and all related studies for research projects developed by the CDC and NIH, amongst other agencies. I specialized in bacteriology, working with numerous infectious disease species, as a result of my research and academic background. Exhibited adaptability and wide-range of expertise in various fields of work through a combination of the science, business, and medicine. Seeking to pursue candidacy for a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies.
