About Tazneem Splinter

My legal journey began within the dynamic worlds of civil and family law litigation. I witnessed the power of advocacy for marginalized communities which sparked my desire to empower and uplift those most in need. This passion ultimately led to the inception of Splinter Inc- my own legal practice. Splinter Inc. wasn't just about serving clients. It was about fostering empowerment on every level. During the global pandemic, it provided an agile platform to support myself, my employees, and those we served. This freedom fueled my entrepreneurial spirit and allowed me to connect with other young visionaries navigating the changing tides of work culture and technology. These invaluable connections led to collaborations across tech for development (ICT4D) and the non-profit sector. I have since become a founding partner and the Legal & Operational lead at Citizen Code, a tech startup striving towards an 'African Valley' approach to Technology. My immersion in the tech world ignited a fascination with the different intersections of law and technology. I remain curious about finding new ways to leverage technology for streamlining organisational support and driving efficiencies. Currently, I am dedicated to optimising agreements, negotiating procurement deals and implementing process improvements for global clients in the financial industry.
