About Teagan Giggins

I have been working in the Events and Tourism industry for over 8 year, with experience in Perth and Melbourne. I have had a passion for Event management from 16 years old and always came up with an excuse to plan a party. Throughout my years I have worked with corporate and social clients and brides to bring their event dream to life. I have worked in a collection of 4.5- and 5-star hotels, as well as boutique venues and as a sole trader. I am currently working in a national role where I use my experience and knowledge in sales and event planning to manage a portfolio of 35+ annual events. I am passionate about waste and sustainability and consider these factors when managing my event portfolio. From financial to food wastage as well as Green initiatives, there is always something that we can do in the events sector to make a difference. In my career, I hope to move into the tourism sector and contribute to the benefit of my State and Capital City. I would like to be involved in bringing people to Perth and showcasing the benefits of this city through events and tourism. I would love to connect with like-minded people across Perth who share a passion in the tourism industry and the future of the sector and this State.
