About Tecia Mentzer

My professional experience includes property management, human resources, and finance. While my experience previous to these included food service, customer service, and manual labor. Each job has contributed to my work ethic and approach. With every job I learned new skills, but all taught me the importance of humility: because there is always something to be learned from any situation and one person will never know it all, teamwork: because collaboration and multiple viewpoints creates a more well rounded product/idea/service offering: and that a good leader and an organized workspace can make a world of difference. While in property management my positions focused on sales, resident retention, data entry, and properly processing leasing agreements. My position in human resources was a generalist position focusing on: pre-screening applicants, scheduling interviews, orientation, training, helping team members complete benefits and tax paperwork, and maintaining an approachable relationship with a team of approximately 260 employees. My current position as a financial analyst involves performing a multitude of accounting tasks, validation, and creating multiple reports to evaluate for discrepancies and over direction of funds.
