About Tecola Robinson

Tecola’s deep appreciation for Art, Design, Music, Theater, Dance, and anything under the creative sun could be attributed to her mother and father’s love and encouragement, and their creative examples. Tecola’s mother could have easily been a painter with a gallery full of work, and her father worked for the T.V. studios dressing sets. Tecola’s path to interior design began at age 9 when she drew a floor plan for a dream home, having never seen a blueprint in her life. Her mother, in awe of this, encouraged her to consider architecture as her career path. Tecola attended Otis College of Art and Design for, foundational design courses and later transferred to a two-year program where a few elective Interior Design courses changed her mind about her architecture major. Having fallen immediately in love with the idea of mashing together the technical side of architecture, with the artistic side of Interior design, she later graduated with a BFA from Woodbury University’s Interior Architecture program. The combination of several years of experience at a boutique design firm and two college degrees have helped shape, a unique set of skills and passion for interior design. Tecola has worked on new construction, as well as small and large remodel projects in the South Bay all the way up to the West Side of Los Angeles. Additionally, she’s furnished, curated, and styled homes from Hollywood to the San Fernando Valley, and currently establishing roots in the Dallas Texas area.
