Retail professional with management, operations and sales experience. I have worked for several highly respected, industry leading, privately/locally owned companies during my career. I also have experience working for a national mega-retailer, as well as a Department of Defense Agency. Currently, I'm employed by Ricci Lumber, a Lumber/Building Materials/Hardware retailer, in business since 1957. I'm part of the hardware team that works tirelessly to make sure that the builders, contractors and trades professionals who bring us their business get matched up with what they need to get the job done. Their success is our success. The owner signs my paycheck, but ultimately, every one of our satisfied customers signs it, too. I thoroughly enjoy my job and the people I work with, but that doesn't mean I'm not open to new opportunities that come my way. My coworkers know me as a creative individual who is consistent, aware and can be counted on to come up with solid ideas and solutions. That said, I intuitively know that the customer always comes first, and my proposals must always pass through the filter of best serving their needs. I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the customer before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.
